Tim Berners-Lee was the world’s first web server to write the first Web Browser, World Wide Web in 1990 by using NeXTcube. Since then the development of web browsers has been inseparably intertwined with the development of the web itself.

Web Browser provides a way to look and interact all the information on the World Wide Web. It is defined as a program used to access the Internet services and resources available through the World Wide Web. Precisely, a Web Browser uses HTTP to make requests of web servers throughout the Internet on behalf of the browser user.

As Web Browser is a software application, it helps to interact with text, images and other information that are located on Web Sites on the World Wide Web or any local area network. Web browsers are available for personal computers that include Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Netscape, and Opera etc.
