Web accessibility means that people with disabilities (like visual impairments, motor impairments, cognitive impairments) can use the Web. Web accessibility holds the capability of a web page to be read and understand, by using adaptive technologies. In order to access the Web, some users need particular software or devices in addition to a standard web browser, or specifically designed web browsers.

When a user want to design web page, accessibility plays a prominent role and the following points shows why accessibility is important when designing web pages:

• Promote HTML standards that can be sustained by all browsers.
• Improve usability for all.
• Allow for larger audience participation.
• Improve search engine listings.
• Increase the effectiveness.
