The Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) increase tactics, guidelines, and resources to help and make the Web accessible to people with disabilities. Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) attempts to progress the accessibility of the World Wide Web for people who are using a wide range of user agent devices. Web Accessibility Initiative is very useful for those people with physical disabilities which require this type of devices to access the Web. WAI is affiliated with the World Wide Web Consortium, has developed a number of guidelines that can help to make Web sites more accessible, especially from the analysis of physically disabled people. WAI published the first version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in 1999. WAI work with many organizations around the world in order to increase the accessibility of the web and have progressed in five divisions such as: technology, guidelines, tools, education and outreach, and research and development.
