Usability by Design was founded on the user knowledge, and usability
remains one of the strongest areas in focus. Design Usability consists
of:
Requirements Analysis:
- Verify the goals for the website from the outlook of the user and
the business.
- Execute a competitive analysis.
- Achieve user interviews and surveys.
Conceptual Design:
- Perform a task analysis to find significant features.
Mockups / Prototypes:
- Estimate usability during focus groups, user tests, and walkthroughs.
- Rapidly create visual representations (mockups) or interactive representations
(prototypes) of the site.
Production:
- Assess functionality through testing, superiority assurance, usability
testing, and field testing.
- Use the evaluation results to improve the product.
