As VoIP is used by many companies all over it is very reasonable. The opportunities for deriving savings in VoIP is that it has a fundamentally different cost base to conventional telephone systems in that it allows you to share costs with your computer network.VoIP is cheaper for various reasons:

  1. VoIP takes advantage of the same equipment that is driving the Internet and is developed by numerous vendors.
  2. VoIP is more scalable
  3. This can be installed at the national level, allowing multiple markets to utilize it, with only limited equipment required locally.
  4. VoIP reduces toll charges between the offices by using their data network to carry inter-office calls.
  5. VoIP network is easier to manage
  6. Since it is based on software it is easy to alter, configure and maintain.
  7. As VoIP run usually on high specification PC server rather than traditional telephone switches the costs of delivering the service are less than that for traditional telephone services.
