MSN Messenger was first introduced by Microsoft which adds the extra feature including full screen video calls, VoIP and shared search functionality. Microsoft also modernized MSN Spaces blogging service which is said to be one of the fastest growing blogging communities on the planet. One of the problems with MSN is when people are making a connection, the connection fails, and that is often because of firewalls that are in the way.

Later Microsoft entered with Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc to provide Voice over Internet Protocol services for MSN Messenger Service customers. With this additional software feature MSN user can make a phone call to any number it may be mobile, national or international.
