Computer Network Management

A layman’s perspective about Operating Systems can be such as that of an interpreter whose job is to make communication much easier for both the communicating parties. The technical part also deals with this thing that is it does sit between the user and the machine to interpret between them.

The Operating System has many features like parallel processing, inter process communication, etc. The most commonly used Operating System is Microsoft’s Windows. The other ones include Linux, UNIX, Apple’s OS Mac, etc.

The Operating System may have graphical user interface like the windows or even they can be like MS – DOS which works only from command line arguments.
