Buying a Cheap ComputerThe buying process involves first searching for the best outlet where the quality and cost are both appropriate. It is not that the cost should be so cheap so that it compromises on the quality. But both should go hand in hand. The cheap computers are available along with quality. The next thing is to consider the configuration of the system. The configuration should be such that it should fairly satisfy the needs of the user. For example the needs comprise the use of the graphics card, high quality sound devices, and multimedia devices or not. The devices include many of the following like Monitors, printers, scanners, processors, motherboard, RAM, case, keyboard, mouse, hard drives, floppy drives, speakers, head sets, modem, microphones, web cam, and many other accessories like CD writers, DVD writers, USB devices, RAID devices etc. Then check for the compatibility of the devices like some motherboards are not compatible with some processors, and some RAM’s are not compatible with some processors. So the next thing that has to be done is select a compatible configuration along with the peripherals and make sure that the peripherals are of reliable quality. If the purchase is being carried out on internet then you may have the option of using your credit cards. Else the regular options include cash or payment by demand draft etc. But be sure that it is purchased with the receipt that is to avail the benefits of the warranty. Also the most important thing is to consider a UPS – Uninterrupted Power Supply; so that when there are any voltage fluctuations then there shouldn’t be any problem with the system. It should have a sufficient backup battery as well. |
