High End Computers

The High – End Computers are the ones that offer huge performance in terms of speed and the computing power. The high end computers may be useful when the requirement is for gaming, solving scientific problems, complex software designs, complex calculations etc.

High end refers to the highest performing systems in other words it also means that they are most expensive ones. The high end computer for example in the present generation should have at least a powerful processing speed that’s along with the most high speed processor such as the Intel Pentium IV with a processing speed in terms of clock cycle of about 3.8 GHz. The other competitor in this segment is AMD Athlon with the 3800 series. The processors with the latest technology of hyper threading are also available.

The processors these days include the 64 bit processor which means that it has al most the double processing power as that of the earlier 32 bit processors. The previous generation processors where 8 bit. So in comparison today’s processors offer huge performance.

Apart from the processing speed the computer should also incorporate the compatible mother board that can capitulate on the performance and hence enhance the system performance overall. The mother board can support various types of RAM and the different types of cards. The mother board should be chosen such that it should be the best in the performance and should be variable and adaptable in the future as well.

The RAM offers high speed in data transfers and also large primary memory increases the performance of the system. It is much helpful during the high graphical games. The hard disk drive adds up more space as the secondary memory. The hard disk can be used to back up the data and large secondary space usually provides much space for videos and audios. The RAM that is available with much capacity is about 2GB in terms of memory. The hard disk may go up to the memory size of about 300GB.

The monitor that is a True Flat type may be more suitable and along with the plasma display panel that increases the clarity on the screen. The monitor may also be digital. The thin slim monitor increases the beauty of the computer. Also such monitors are wall mountable.

A splendid surround system should add up the sound capacity of the system. It obviously increases the multimedia performance of the system. The multimedia computer should infact include a high stereo sound system. The sub woofer increases the quality of the sound in the computer. The above mentioned peripherals if included will make a better high end computer that is cheap and sustainable.
