Almost all use the information that is private to them and they would like this information to be kept private. When we talk about privacy the subject immediately pops up that is of security within the system. For this reason the concept of security is introduced in the computer.

Digital wallet is actually a file that is used to store the encrypted form of the information. The information like the personal information of names and security pin of banks, credit card information, and many other private things and a person would not like to disclose it to any body.

This information that is encrypted in the file may be stored on the magnetic strip of a card along with some kind of program to make it as an access card or some thing like that. In short Digital wallet is a purse full of personal information that is stored in an encrypted form.
