Computer compatibilityComputer compatibility term that refers to whether the different components of the computer are suitable for the job they perform together. In the case of hardware compatibility it refers whether the motherboard and the processors are compatible with each other or not. In this the case is much of importance because they have to be compatible in order to perform smoothly. If the two such primary units are not compatible with each other then the computer may have difficulty in performing well. Or even in the worst case it may sustain extreme damage at the physical level. When we talk about hardware compatibility there is also another issue that arises in the same case that is of RAM and motherboard or that of RAM or processor. For example suppose that a Pentium III processor is being used and the motherboard is a latest one that of 845 series, then the hardware may sustain the damage or the computer may not even startup. Another example is that of a RAM and the processor, there may again
be the similar case here as well and the issue may crop up. Sometimes;
there may exist the problem of non compatibility between the hardware
and the software. Even though the hardware is compatible there may be
the problem of compatibility of software with that of the hardware. |
