Gone are the days when computers were supposed to be the thing that was highly considered as the most expensive one. People were so afraid even to use it. But now computers are cheaply available and most importantly there is more awareness about them which lead the users to be much aware about it.

Now a days, the computers are available with different configurations. They come in branded systems and the assembled ones. Even the peripherals are available with much ease that is quite cheaply available and also those are of different configurations.

So the steps that are being followed involve the following. The first one will be to get the required peripherals. Then to assemble those peripherals and make sure that all power connections are suitably connected. Again then the next step is to install the operating system and all the needed software.

Considering the assembling of the PC for the first time, first the mother board or the main board should be fitted to the case, then the processor should be fixed over the motherboard, along with it the fan should be fixed to it, The comes the turn of the RAM. Now all the connections should be made and the jumper settings should be made appropriately. Next comes the turn for hard disks that needs to be connected to the system and all other secondary devices like CD ROM, Floppy Drive, etc.

After all the devices have been connected then the power supply should be switched on and the cable connections should be checked. Now the installations come in to the picture. The first thing is to install an operating system. The most popular ones are the windows operating system, Linux operating system, etc. While the Linux operating system is free of cost the windows operating system is from Microsoft Corporation which includes some kind of payment.

Hence the installation of the operating system gets completed. Now the driver’s installation, as well as the other one software comes into the picture. Then all the settings corresponding to the needs of the user could be set.
